This is what I woke up to during winter semester a few months
ago. The snow went up to my knees on the side walk, so I ended up
walking in the middle of the street where it was lower.
This
is a picture of me obviously torturing an orange on the first day of
injections in Medical assisting. It was pretty awesome and life like.
This
is a vial of my blood. Doing venipunctures, aka blood draws was pretty
scary because you can miss the vein and sometimes you cannot even see
the vein in the arm . . . you just have to feel for it and stick it in. I
did not like these at all.
just my arm after a blood draw
Me in scrubs. They are super comfortable
I just thought that this was funny. Only in Rexburg.
Excerpt from a letter I sent my brother about that semester also:
SO Brandon is in Utah on his internship . . . and he already got
pulled over by a police officer, bought a knife, got stuck in the snow
and people had to push him, and took his little cousins geocaching. Also
when he came up here to Rexburg for a weekend he hit a squirrel out of a
tree with a snowball . . . was stabbed by an icicle . . . threw a lit sparkler
and caught it on the burning end and head butted our door. I just
thought you would like to know what I got our family into haha.
For my life updates: I bought my first blood pressure cuff,
and stethoscope for my medical assisting class. I had my first MA exam
which I am prettier sure that I got an A on. I had a CPR and
Heimlich maneuver skill test that I got 100% on. I am in a jazz class
and I have tricked everyone into believing that I have taken jazz
before.
